Todd Reber’s vision to share his enthusiasm and knowledge of food and wine with the local community has not only come to fruition but has taken the local culinary experience to a whole other level. With Ignacio Bernal’s addition to the culinary team in 2018, Vin’tij Food & Wine creates an elevated, yet unpretentious dining experience.

Bernal’s passion for creating diverse and unique dishes emphasizing the freshest local ingredients possible, is apparent. “Nature is abundant,” he recalls his mother, Alejandrina, saying. “It takes care of us by providing the gift of food.” Alejandrina stressed the importance of respecting each ingredient and instilled upon Bernal the importance of learning to use each ingredient to create meaningful dishes. Repeat patrons not only look forward to the in-house dining experience, but also anticipate Chef Ignacio’s weekly specials with the announcement on their social media platforms.

With a wonderful array of boutique wines from which to choose, Vin’tij offers an assortment of wines that not only pair well but stand firm on their own. Todd always stocks wines from his good friends, The Martinelli Family. The Martinelli’s have five generations of harvesting wine in California, and they were recently featured on the cover of Wine Spectator for their exceptional grape growing and wine making skills. He also consistently acquires artisan wines from both domestic and international producers such as Alexana, Lando, Soter, Dakota Shy, Casanova di Neri and Conterno.


In addition to the fabulous fare and wine selections, Todd and his staff have some fabulous things, “cooked up,” celebrating 25 years of culinary excellence. In August, Vin’tij launched an online food ordering system with 2 reserved parking spots for convenient curbside pick-up. For guests and homeowners of Sandestin, Vin’tij provides delivery in the Sandestin Resort from 4pm-7pm. Their drivers are Vin’tij staff members, which will ensure your food is well taken care of and arrives promptly. They also started a scheduled wine delivery system from 11am-3pm. This is the perfect opportunity to order highly acclaimed wines, delivered to your door, to restock your wine cellar or for all your upcoming holiday events.
In addition, Vin’tij always hosts educational multi-course food and wine tastings from some of the most sought-after wine purveyors from all over the world.
