Orchard Breeze
There is no better way to toast the fall than with a hard apple cider cocktail in-hand. Hard apple cider brings both sweet and spicy notes to this Orchard Breeze recipe creating the perfect twist to a rather simple recipe.
Ingredients:
2 ounces hard apple cider
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
Champagne
Basil Syrup:
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup torn fresh basil
Directions:
- Make the Basil Syrup – In a small saucepan, simmer honey, water and torn fresh basil, stirring, until the honey dissolves, about 2 minutes; let cool.
- In each of 2 flutes, pour in 1 oz. hard apple cider, 1/2 oz. of the basil syrup, strained, and 1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice. Top with champagne.
