Emerald Coast Rum Pineapple Punch
This is a colorful Rum Cocktail inspired by and named after the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico featuring our Esprit de Krewe Golden Rum.
2oz Esprit de Krewe Golden Rum
2oz 100% Pineapple Juice
1oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1oz Simple Syrup (2:1)
¼ oz Blue Curaçao
Garnish: Orange slice, Lemon slice, pineapple wedge, and leaf
Step 1: Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well over ice.
Step 2: Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice.
Step 3: Garnish with Orange Slice, Lemon Slice, and Pineapple wedge and leaf.
This is easy to make and a very versatile ingredient that can be used in far more than this one drink. The Simple Syrup we make is a 2:1 ratio of sugar to water. This makes a thicker more stable syrup and allows us to use less per drink. It’s also known as a “Rich Simple” or “bartenders Simple” syrup.
Step 1: Dissolve 2 parts granulated sugar into 1 part water on the stove.
Step 2: Heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Step 3: Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
